Pilgrim’s wants YOU to join our Team as an MAINTENANCE LEAD! This position starts at $32.54 /hour plus $1/hour shift differential and offers a $4/hour perfect attendance bonus that is paid out weekly.

POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Lead assists the supervisor to achieve department goals in safety, Work Order completion, downtime and labor hours. The lead reports to the department supervisor and assists in the operation of the department. This position is designed to be a career path to higher supervisory positions within the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- High School or GED required – 2-year college degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations.
- Ability to pass a prove it test.
- Working knowledge of Supervisory Management practices and principles.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
- Working knowledge of processing operations and marked ability to analyze and respond to production problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others in a manner that maintains harmony with co-workers.
- Basic computer skills (e-mail, KRONOS, word and excel).
- Knowledgeable in LOO and aware of requirements for LOTO safety as well as other company safety policies and programs.
- Valid Pilgrims pallet jack license or ability to obtain a license within 30 days.
- Valid CPR, First Aid Certification and AED or ability to obtain certificate within six months.
- Considerable mechanical ability to analyze production machinery and their function and repair.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand schematics.
- Ability to ARC and Gas weld.
