Job Summary

The employee fulfilling this job is accountable to the assigned teacher and will support students in their classroom based on their level of disability. The employee will be held to high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of work. Expectations include a pleasant and professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality. The employee must also maintain confidentiality and be willing to engage in professional development if requested by the supervisor.

As well as a willingness, if needed, to obtain a chaufeur's license and drive students to and from school-related events.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a desire to work with students with mild to severe impairments. Previous experience is preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Requirements

All applicants will be required to provide a satisfactory background check and hold a Michigan valid driver’s license

Hourly Rate - range is $16.26 to $19.84 contingent on years of experience.
