Area Manager - Floor; Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, HMSC

Base Pay Range

$65,500.00/yr - $98,000.00/yr

Area Manager - Floor responsible for overseeing daily operations on the sales floor across fashion, import, jewelry and related categories. The role involves staffing, scheduling, performance management, and ensuring a safe, high‑quality customer experience.

• Communicate goals and expectations to associates verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and peers.
• Implement the business plan for the area, managing staffing, scheduling, workload, and achieving facility goals such as production, quality, and safety.
• Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies and that policies are consistently followed.
• Identify associate, customer, or supplier concerns, consult with others as needed, and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Build high‑performing teams that embrace diversity, foster belonging, and support all associates to thrive.
• Operate with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and contribute to the company’s goal of becoming regenerative.

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and 1 year of supervisory experience, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, OR
• 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, OR
• 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience, OR
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Office, supervising associates, and Walmart logistics management.
• Bachelor’s in Business or Logistics.
