* Position Summary:

** Reviewing and distributing production, work, and schedules; conferring with Production Control Supervisor to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, cost, and production problems.
*
* Position Responsibilities:

*** Assist with the flow of production jobs, and tooling.
* Help to manage inventory needs as it pertains to operations
* Clean and calibrate gauges for production parts.
* Maintain a log of tools and gauging distributed to the operators
* Enter all job packet information into dispatch computer.
* Prioritize job packets based off scheduling needs for forecast, part priority, 1 ,2 3, etc.
* Maintain the job status as the work order moves through each operation.
* Assist the material handler with raw and inventory material transactions.
* Inspect packets for all needed information/ paperwork necessary for completing the work order.
* Assist scheduling with information regarding work order issues e.g., shortage of material, BOM issues, Scrap per operation.
* Filling out a scrap form on an op-to-op basis as the work order moves through the shop, this includes working with Production Supervisor to make decisions on increasing or decreasing job quantity.
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed by the operator for each operation in the job packet.
* Work with Material Handler and Set-Up personnel to pre-stage jobs and material.

** HS graduate or equivalent required

* Experience:

1**+ years of prior production experience

Experience in manufacturing scheduling environment preferred

Background involving machining tools / Tool crib experience
