In this role, you’ll operate specialized hot press equipment used to manufacture advanced metal products. You’ll set up machinery, monitor production processes, inspect materials, and help ensure our products meet demanding quality standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing position supporting our 2nd-shift production operations. You’ll work as part of a manufacturing team responsible for safely operating equipment, meeting production requirements, and maintaining consistent product quality.

As a Hot Press Machine Operator, you’ll help turn advanced metal materials into high-performance products through safe, consistent equipment operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Set up, operate, and monitor hot press equipment according to established work instructions and production requirements
• Load and unload materials while safely handling parts, tooling, and production equipment
• Monitor temperature, pressure, cycle times, and other process parameters to maintain consistent product quality
• Make equipment or process adjustments as needed within established operating procedures
• Perform in-process inspections and verify products meet required specifications
• Identify equipment or process issues and communicate concerns to Production, Maintenance, or Quality
• Complete production, quality, material, and equipment documentation accurately
• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic operator maintenance
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with team members to support production schedules and quality requirements

You enjoy hands-on work, pay attention to details, and take pride in producing quality products. You don’t need to know everything about hot press manufacturing on your first day, but you should be comfortable working around industrial equipment and willing to learn specialized processes. You may be a strong fit if you:

• Have previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial production experience (preferred)
• Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Have strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning specialized equipment
• Can follow detailed work instructions and established production procedures
• Have basic math skills and can accurately complete production documentation
• Have experience using measuring or inspection equipment (a plus)
