Job Title: Cook – The Laurels of Coldwater

Responsibilities- Prepare delicious, nourishing, and well-balanced meals to meet daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each guest.
- Follow standardized recipes.
- Prepare foods that correspond to menu cycles developed by registered dietitians.
- Cook or prepare appetizing, well‑presented, nutritionally adequate meals in quantities served at proper temperatures and within appropriate time frames.
- Use food supplies and equipment efficiently and economically to prevent waste.
- Prepare and maintain food alternatives to accommodate guest choices and refusals of meals served.
- Supervise culinary staff regarding food storage, food preparation, tray assembly, and cleaning.
- In the absence of the chef or dietary manager, supervise the culinary center’s employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience as a cook in an institutional food service setting preferred.
- Other qualifications acceptable with required exemption.
