This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to join a stable business with a secure pipeline of work and genuine opportunities for long-term progression. The Role Reporting to the Senior Commercial Team, you will take commercial responsibility for one or more refurbishment and planned maintenance projects from pre-construction through to final account. Duties will include:
Preparing cost plans, budgets and forecasts. Procurement and management of subcontract packages. Tender analysis and subcontract negotiations. Valuations and payment applications. Cost reporting and CVRs. Managing variations and change control. Subcontract account management. Final account negotiation and agreement. Working closely with operational teams to maximise commercial performance. Supporting the wider commercial strategy across multiple projects. About You We are keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have experience working for a:
Main Contractor Refurbishment Contractor Planned Maintenance Contractor Social Housing Contractor Heritage or Specialist Refurbishment Contractor You will ideally have: 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience. Experience working on refurbishment and/or planned maintenance projects. A good understanding of JCT forms of contract. Knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates (desirable). Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A proactive and organised approach.
Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred but not essential). Why Apply?
