Finance Officer

Finance Officer Coleraine This is a great opportunity to join a well-established community-focused organisation as a Finance Officer, supporting the effective financial management of a busy project environment. In this role, youll play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, supporting budgeting and reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and funding requirements.

About the role:

£31,537 - £33,699 per annum Monday to Friday 35 hours per week Sector:
Community and Voluntary Permanent role What you'll be doing in this role:
Manage the day to day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate records of all income and expenditure Maintain computerised and manual bookkeeping systems, including bank reconciliations, petty cash, sales invoicing and debtor management Monitor and analyse income across multiple funding streams, ensuring all funding is correctly recorded, lodged and reported Process supplier payments, maintain purchase approval systems and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts Support the Project Manager in preparing annual budgets and monitor performance against actual spend Prepare quarterly income and expenditure reports and investigate variances Maintain budget trackers to support financial control and decision making What you'll need for this role: ATI or HND in Finance/Business/Accounts Minimum of 2 years experience in a finance role Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, budgeting and financial reporting Experience managing payroll and statutory submissions Ability to work with multiple funding streams and meet reporting deadlines Experience using Sage 50 is essential
