Reporting to a senior facilities manager, you will work within a supportive team environment in one of the area's leading public sector bodies. About you Degree in Building Studies or equivalent (or relevant equivalent qualification) with at least 1 year of experience, or BTEC Higher Diploma in Building Studies (or equivalent) with 2 years' experience, or Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience working on domestic properties' design, maintenance or improvement projects Strong communication skills and attention to detail Knowledge of property inspections, maintenance standards, and compliance requirements Ability to work independently and as part of a team What you'll do Conduct property inspections according to a set timetable to assess maintenance needs and authorise contractors' work Oversee and monitor the quality of maintenance works to ensure standards are met Communicate effectively with tenants regarding maintenance policies, work progress, and responsibilities Identify and report deficiencies in service delivery to expedite remedial actions Liaise with housing staff to coordinate re-let preparations after tenancy changes For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact Cian France at VANRATH for a confidential chat today.
