Domestic Assistants

We are currently recruiting 6 Domestic Assistants to support the Emergency Department at Causeway

Hospital.

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

throughout the Emergency Department. Duties will include cleaning and sanitising patient areas, treatment rooms, waiting areas and communal spaces, as well as cleaning floors, surfaces, equipment and other designated areas. You will ensure waste is disposed of correctly in line with hospital procedures, replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required, and follow strict infection prevention and control procedures at all times.

You will also provide general support to the wider domestic and hospital team as required.

Hours &

Contract:

? 3 Domestic Assistants 36 hours per week, working 3 shifts per week

? 3 Domestic Assistants 24 hours per week, working 2 shifts per week

? Temporary contract for a minimum of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension

? Applicants must be flexible to work a rota, including weekdays and weekends

? Must be available for an immediate start

Shift Times:

? 7:00am 7:00pm

? 7:00pm 7:00am

Pay Rates:

? Monday Friday: £12.71 per hour

? Monday Friday, 8:00pm6:00am & Saturdays: £17.92 per hour

? Sundays & Bank Holidays: £23.26 per hour

? Must be willing to complete 1 day training. (Training Held Every Wednesday)
