Fabrication Supervisor

Position: Fabrication Supervisor (4 Day Week)
MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily fabrication operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of welders and fabricators. Organise workloads and prioritise jobs to meet production schedules and customer deadlines. Ensure all fabrication work is completed to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency within the department. Support, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive working culture.

About you:

Experienced in fabrication or welding within a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment. Previous experience leading or supervising a fabrication team. ? Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and quality standards. ? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
