About the Role

As a Production Operator, you will convert raw materials into work in progress (WIP) and finished goods by following standard work procedures. Working as part of the production team, you will ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards while supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

• Operate production processes safely and efficiently in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard work practices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report production issues affecting quality, performance, safety, or operational efficiency.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials and packaging to ensure quality, batch accuracy, and shelf-life compliance.
• Verify the availability of materials, consumables, and production lines prior to start-up, changeovers, and production runs.
• Set up production equipment and perform product and process changeovers in accordance with approved procedures.
• Accurately record and monitor operational data, including downtime, waste, yields, non-conformances, and changeover performance.
• Carry out quality checks on work-in-progress and finished products, ensuring specifications are met before release to the next stage.
• Perform routine autonomous maintenance and equipment checks to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, or processing environment, with machine operation experience preferred.
• Good written, verbal, and numerical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to follow standard work procedures at production line speed.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and accurately recording production data.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude, strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
