We're looking for an experienced butcher to join a team that cares about quality. You'll prepare high‑quality products to customer and company specification, deliver knowledgeable service, and play a key part in the day‑to‑day running of a busy butchery counter.

Pay rate: £13.15 per hour

• Prepare a range of cuts to customer and company specification
• Greet and serve customers, sharing product knowledge and helping them get the most from their purchase
• Prepare and maintain the counter and pre‑pack areas to the highest hygiene standards
• Carry out stock rotation and product sampling
• Receive deliveries and complete the required paperwork
• Distribute special offer materials and support general store operations
• Provide cover and support for the store manager when required

• Hands‑on experience in a retail butchery environment is essential
• A track record of excellent customer service and a drive to meet sales targets
• Sound knowledge of legal requirements relevant to butchery
• Experience supporting and developing new team members
• Confident acting in a supervisory capacity when required
• Flexible, deadline‑focused, and able to perform well under pressure
• A strong communicator who can work independently and use their own initiative
