As an Independent Living Officer, you'll play a vital role in delivering a person-centred service, supporting tenants in Independent Living accommodation. Responsibilities of the Independent Living Office include:
Visiting residents across various schemes, with 30-40 visits per week Providing housing-related support that promotes independence and well-being Engaging with residents to create tailored support plans and offer reassurance Acting as a key point of contact for residents while escalating complex matters through the appropriate channels Collaborating with a team of Independent Living Officers, led by experienced team leaders Candidates for the role of Independent Living Officer will need:
Experience in social housing and supporting vulnerable tenants Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse clients A proactive and compassionate approach to problem-solving A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between schemes If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply ASAP!
