Birmingham (3-4 days per week) Area to be covered:
London (although can be National) Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000neg Benefits: 25 days annual leave, Company pension & Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Designer Sheet Metal will involve:
Design Management position promoting a range of architectural aluminium systems for residential and commercial projects Manage, grow and build an internal team of 3 designers May be a requirement to visit projects, which are typically within London although can be national Use AutoCAD to develop detailed design specifications for products and projects Work closely with clients, architects, project managers and internal teams Offer 1st line technical support by telephone, email and occasional site visits Support new product launches and exhibitions as and when required Review, create and analyse project / product designs Manage projects ranging in value up-to £1m The ideal applicant will be a Designer Sheet Metal with:
Must have Design experience within sheet metal or have experience with architectural aluminium Highly advantageous to have existing people management experience although open to a Designer looking to take a step-up Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Understanding of current building regulations Strong character thats not afraid to help the team when necessary Confident and articulate Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction Vacancies and Specification Positions within:
