Position: Year Leader School

The Coleshill School are seeking an exceptional Year Leader (Non-Teaching) to join our dedicated pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational experience and wellbeing of our students in a thriving and ambitious 11–18 school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding pastoral leadership for a designated year group.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and student wellbeing.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external agencies.
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving success.
  • Monitor attendance, behaviour and progress, implementing effective interventions where required.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, safeguarding teams and senior leaders to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Champion the school's values of "Work Hard, Be Kind and Take Responsibility."

  • Experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work or pastoral setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Be organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Can motivate, support and challenge students to achieve their very best.
