HSE Officer

M-Tec Engineering is recruiting on behalf of global manufacturing organisation who requires a HSE Officer

As the HSE Officer you will be responsible for implementing all Health, Safety & Environmental activities throughout the facility and making sure policies are consistently maintained.

Further duties will include:

Continually assess the status of HSE within the plant (ISO 14001 and IS(phone number removed)

Develop, implement, and evaluate a health, safety, and environment roadmap/action plan for the facility

To ensure risk assessment and accident management systems are in place and to take part in these as appropriate

Monitor HSE performance, identify and establish corrective and preventive actions

Support the delivery of training events for HSE Basics, Work Place Data Sheet and Manual Handling etc

Manage all Health, Safety & Environmental requirements for the site

Conduct HSE inductions for new starters

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

NEBOSH Certificate

IOSH Managing safely

Qualified auditor for ISO
45001 or ISO(phone number removed) (or hold relevant experience of auditing to these standards)

Experienced working within a fast paced manufacturing environment within a HSE capacity.
