HGV Class 1 Driver

Our client, a well-established and growing transport operation, is currently looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to join their team.

This is a tramping position requiring overnight stays throughout the working week.

• 5 shifts per week
• Sunday start shifts
• Day and night driving required

• Transport trailers between fulfilment and distribution centres
• Complete trailer drop and swap operations
• Carry out daily walk‑round vehicle checks
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
• Maintain accurate digital tachograph records
• Deliver a safe, professional and reliable service
• Communicate effectively with transport teams and site staff

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 12 months' Class 1 driving experience (preferred)
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
