Software Engineer, Systems Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in College Park, GA with experience designing and implementing manufacturing information systems, databases, HMIs, and distributed systems. We have a fantastic opportunity for a capable, creative, and initiative-taking professional who wants a career in automation systems integration.

BS or MS degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline. At least four (4) years of experience designing and implementing manufacturing information systems and HMI’s.

Experience with manufacturing information systems from Rockwell Factory Talk, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware Archestr

A and Siemens. Experience with Rockwell Automation Panel View and similar HMI products. Experience in integrating PLC-based manufacturing information systems with applications such as Process Monitoring, Traceability, OEE, MES, Quality and ERP systems. Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases. Experience with Ethernet/IP and other industrial networks. Programming experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server.

Experience with machine vision systems and data collection technologies (bar code, RFID). Some travel included, estimated at 15 – 20%, which is primarily startup at customer sites.
