The Terminal Operator position supports our operations by performing a combination of duties in a professional, safe and efficient manner. The starting base rate is $45,000/year ($21.63/hour).

• Loading bulk trucks in a safe, efficient and timely manner from the designated silos, as instructed by the Terminal Manager.
• Ensuring each load is completed to the customer’s specification within legal limits.
• Spotting railcars over the loading area to connect the cars with the unloading equipment.
• Continuously monitoring the unloading process, while safely operating manual unloading gates, air valves and blowers.
• Adhering to company safety policies and performing work in a safe manner.
• Cleaning all areas of the terminal and grounds, and obtaining daily/weekly samples.

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Able to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required.
• Speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to work independently, without constant supervision.
• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions.
• In good physical condition, able to bend, use broom and shovel, lift and carry up to 100 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods, kneel, climb ladders, walk on mixed terrain and confined spaces.
• Ability to work at heights up to 150 feet.
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors for cutting grass.
