About the Role Step into a true job shop environment where every build is different. You’ll take custom, one-off, and short‑run sheet metal and structural projects from print to finished assembly—without the repetitiveness of production welding. If you thrive on variety, problem‑solving, and quality craftsmanship, this is your lane.

A Day in the Shop Review blueprints, weld symbols, and job travelers to plan the build.

Select and prep materials; measure, lay out, and verify tolerances throughout the job.

Fit and tack assemblies, then complete welds—primarily MIG (GMAW) on carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, with TIG (GTAW) as needed.

Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet appearance and structural requirements.

Use standard shop tools (grinders, saws, drills, and more) to support fabrication.

Own your schedule, maintain quality standards, and keep a safe, organized work area.
