As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security‑related incidents by monitoring and controlling access points, verifying credentials, and remaining visible throughout the assigned location.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations according to site requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel and/or law enforcement as needed in response to incidents.
• Enforce site access policies by verifying identification credentials and/or visitor passes.
• Remain alert to potential security‑related risks or hazards specific to the logistics and distribution environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals entering or exiting the location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
