Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in preparing SEC filings, supporting financial statement disclosures, and performing technical accounting analyses. You’ll collaborate across teams and help strengthen financial reporting processes for a rapidly scaling organization.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and review SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related disclosures
- Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and variances
- Research and document technical accounting issues and new GAAP pronouncements
- Review journal entries and reconciliations for investments and other technical areas
- Support accounting for business combinations and investments
- Perform key internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
- Supervise and coach financial reporting staff
- Assist with special projects and automation initiatives
- BS/BA in Accounting
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and/or public accounting
- Experience with SEC reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- CPA designation
- Experience with a Big Four or national accounting firm
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
