Role Definition:
Founder / Investor & Board Partner
The Founder / Investor & Board Partner serves as a senior founding leader with both operational influence and investor‑level governance responsibility. This role is designed for an individual who contributes strategic judgment, capital perspective, and long‑term oversight while actively supporting execution during the Company’s formative stage.

Washington, DC–Baltimore Metropolitan Area
Core Responsibilities
Strategic & Governance Responsibilities
• Co‑establish the Company’s vision, mission, and long‑term value thesis
• Participate in board‑level discussions, including strategic planning, risk oversight, and performance evaluation
• Support development of governance structures, decision rights, and operating cadence
• Contribute to capital allocation decisions and long‑term financial planning
Capital & Investor Responsibilities
• Advise on early‑stage capital strategy, including fundraising approach, investor alignment, and timing
• Participate in investor outreach and diligence discussions as appropriate
• Support positioning of the Company with angel investors, strategic partners, and private capital
• Align capital strategy with operational milestones and risk tolerance
Operational & Leadership Support
• Provide strategic guidance to executive and operational teams during early execution phases
• Support business development, partnerships, and growth initiatives from an investor‑operator perspective
• Act as a sounding board for key leadership decisions without displacing management authority
• Help establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks
