The Revolution Learning Lab is a trauma‑informed academic and executive‑function learning space serving bright children who learn differently. We are looking for a skilled, dependable Learning Specialist to provide one‑on‑one support for an elementary‑age student with ADHD and language‑based learning needs. This is a highly focused, structured role for someone who loves helping children grow in confidence and skills.

Position Details
  • Schedule:

    Monday–Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Total

    Hours:

    9 hours per week (consistent weekly schedule)
  • Location:

    College Park, Maryland
  • Start Date:

    Immediate after onboarding
  • Compensation:
    Competitive; based on experience

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher in education, psychology, child development, social work, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with children (schools, tutoring, ABA, camps, aftercare, daycare, etc.)
  • Willing to be trained in structured literacy and executive‑function techniques
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ADHD, dyslexia, speech/language challenges, or neurodivergent learners
  • Background in special education, early childhood, or behavior support
Responsibilities
  • Implement structured literacy activities and multisensory math routines
  • Support emotional regulation and executive‑function skills
  • Follow a weekly learning plan with consistency
  • Provide brief daily progress notes
  • Maintain a calm, structured environment
  • Collaborate with parent/lead educator on weekly goals
