IonQ is seeking a Photonic Layout Engineer to join our QPU Design team. You will design photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and lay out multi-layer chips, collaborating with scientists and fabrication engineers to drive tape-outs for ion-trapping quantum processors.
You will produce reticle-size layout files using Python, verify layouts with DRC/LVS, and help define design rules while contributing to the scalable hardware that enables quantum computing at industrial scale.
