Position: Res Life Embedded Clinician
** To be eligible for hire as a Counselor** (exempt salaried
2):

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
* Knowledge of individual and group psychotherapy, counseling, diagnostic assessment, psychological and career testing, consultation, outreach, and crisis intervention.
* Knowledge of group psycho dynamics and supervision.
* Skill in oral and written communication.
* Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

* Education:

Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university.

* Experience:

Five (5) years of clinical practice in total, including experience gained throughout the Educational training.
* Licenses/

Certifications:

Licensed or license-eligible to practice psychology in the State of Maryland within 1 year from hire.

* Education:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.

* Experience:

Two (2) years of clinical experience in an ambulatory mental health setting.
* Licenses/

Certifications:

Licensed or license-eligible as a mental health provider in the State of Maryland.
* Other:
Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) may also be considered with at least 2000 hours of post-graduate supervised clinical work and the ability to obtain a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license within one year.
