CACI is seeking a System Administrator to join our team. Responsibilities:
As a Mid-Level Linux Infrastructure Engineer with Networking Experience, you will play a pivotal role in actively shaping and expanding our infrastructure within a dynamic research environment. Your responsibilities go beyond traditional troubleshooting, encompassing the engineering of solutions to extend researchers' capabilities, empowering them to expand and succeed in their research endeavors. You will be a key contributor in resolving technical challenges within Linux and Windows environments through various channels, including phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems (JIRA/Confluence).

This role not only involves supporting daily IT operational activities but also making substantial contributions and allows you to help propose and engineer solutions to specific research projects and needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

* Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.

* Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.

* Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.

* Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.

* Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.

* Eight (8) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
