Program Overview

The program, led by Peraton Labs with external infrastructure support, conducts advanced research for the customer on a variety of topics, including cybersecurity, RF solutions, and quantum communications. Mission focus is on developing next-gen tools for detecting cyber-attacks, enhancing network resilience, and improving small-form factor sensor systems while maintaining a focus on cutting‑edge technologies like machine learning and software‑defined networking.

Peraton Labs is seeking a fully cleared Front-End Developer to work collaboratively within our Network Systems team to build compelling and easy to use applications for a multitude of different projects. You will work closely with other team members as well as directly with our DoD/IC customer, in a fast‑paced environment, and you will be challenged to utilize and grow your skills to build interfaces for a diverse set of applications.

For this role you should be creative, passionate about process improvement, be self‑sufficient, and have a desire to continuously learn.

This position requires full time on-site work out of College Park, MD or Laurel, MD.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BA/BS and 3 years of relevant experience. We may consider candidates with 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree, for a total of 7 years of experience.
• Experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and related front‑end technologies in a professional environment.
• Comfort utilizing frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular.js.
• Must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the syntax and semantics of JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience utilizing RESTful API web services in front‑end development with an understanding of how API’s work within a full‑stack environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new technologies.
• Experience with design, development, test, verification, and certification of operational software.

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
