Assistant Financial Center Manager
We are seeking innovative professionals passionate about exceptional service to join our Retail Banking team as an Assistant Financial Center Manager. As the face and personal connection to our members, you will deliver dynamic, technology-driven service that exceeds expectations every time.
Responsibilities- Lead daily financial center activity, including member interactions, activity management, coach conversations around lending, small business, mortgages, deposits, and other lines of business.
- Use situational leadership to bring targeted development support to team member growth and partner engagement.
- Pull monthly reports and analyze data with the Financial Center Manager.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, daily observation, monthly audits, and Bank Secrecy Act rules.
- Balance the Financial Center and serve as subject matter expert with all branch transactions, policies and processes.
- Open and close the Center.
- Identify and resolve member problems to ensure member retention.
- Resolve interdepartmental and branch issues in collaboration with the Financial Center Manager.
- Adhere to sales and service behaviors and active participation in lobby management efforts.
- Educate members to refer (cross-sell) SECU products and services; coach center employees to meet referral and branch sales goals.
- Participate in commercial and business development efforts.
- Participate in all branch recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing and selection.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in branch management.
- 2+ years of successful career track in branch management.
- Experience managing transitions or change of operating systems or organizational culture.
- Strong background in branch operations, including new accounts, loan origination, transaction processing and ATMs.
- Sales management experience selling business directly to consumers and small businesses.
- Annual performance reviews, coaching, motivating.
- Ability to work independently and foster teamwork.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb member and customer service.
- Attention to detail and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Experience preparing yearly budgets is helpful.
- Solid work ethic, integrity and self-motivated.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Initiative, creativity, and desire to work as part of a total team effort.
Salary: $61,500 – $98,300. Quarterly incentives based on productivity goals and annual corporate-wide incentives.
