The Maintenance Mechanic will support a large hotel in College Park, Maryland, performing operations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment. Candidates must be able to work both the 230 PM-1100 PM and 1100 PM-730 AM shifts, including weekends, with full flexibility. Salary ranges from $20,000 to $24,000 depending on experience and license.

- Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment.
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
- Maintain equipment to industry standards.
- Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as required or as assigned by supervisor.
- Provide assistance and support to sub‑contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required.
- Interface with building manager and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction.
- Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor.
- Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed.
- Place or remove systems and equipment as directed.
- Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work all shifts and be on-call 24/7.
- Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems. li>Universal CFC/R-410A certification.
- Prior hotel experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to lift 60 pounds.
- Capable of ascending ladders up to 30 feet.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
