OverviewThe Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) is seeking a part time Admission Reader. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this individual will be responsible for the review and evaluation of applications based on a variety of factors that determine if an applicant is qualified for admission to YSPH. The reader will provide a written assessment of each applicant and will be called upon to present to the admissions staff about applicants and the reasons for a decision.
Decisions are rendered by multiple readers so the reader will have support and information from admissions staff. The reader should be able to work independently, pay attention to detail, assess components of an application as they relate to admission criteria. This position can be performed remotely and will require 10-15 hours per week. Training will be provided prior to completing reviews and will continue throughout the cycle.

- Ability to provide written summary of applicant’s qualifications
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with attention to admissions timeline
- Prior experience with the admissions process.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree.
