Job Description
A Credentialing Analyst is responsible for validating the identity of a prospective customer and confirming the existence of the permissible purpose in order to access Verisk products and services often containing PII and sensitive information.
Responsibilities- Maintain knowledge and understanding of Fair Credit Reporting Act (F.C.R.A.), Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (D.P.P.A.), Gramm‑Leach‑Bliley Act (G.L.B.), state statutes and regulations, OFAC and iiX/ISO credentialing process.
- Complete the second‑level credentialing process for customers, including investigating the customer’s provided information against published information to help validate contact to the applying company.
- Review and approve paperwork submitted to request changes to existing accounts.
- Coordinate and process onsite inspections between third‑party vendor and applying customer.
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined on the annual performance plan.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with investigating and identifying fraud.
- Understanding and experience in performing audits to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications including Word and Excel and the ability to learn customer relationship management, contracts, and document repository.
- Advanced organizational skills and ability to monitor and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Investigative mindset.
- Experience with internet research, working knowledge of search engine tools, and the ability to utilize resources on the Internet.
- Knowledge of credentialing software and internal processing is helpful.
