As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support. Every day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs, develop and execute effective care plans, and ensure calm, focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.

• Administer therapy modalities which include, but are not limited to, Hand held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (HHN/MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), Pentamidine therapy
• Administer medical gas therapy including oxygen and Helium-Oxygen Therapy (HeO2)
• Perform ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems
• Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing including ABG puncture, bronchoscopy assistance, pulmonary function testing, bedside PFTs, metabolic monitoring, apnea monitoring, transcutaneous monitoring, capnography, pulse oximetry and sleep apnea assessment
• Perform specialized procedures which include but are not limited to CPR, bronchial lavage, transport, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, artificial and tracheostomy airway care, and body mechanics/ambulation

• Completion of Respiratory Care degree program
• RCP (TX)
• RRT Certification
• BLS‑CPR – Within 14 days of hire
• ACLS – Within 6 months of hire
