Ethics & Compliance Specialist

* Investigates allegations of violations of TAMU and TAMUS ethics policies, procedures, or other regulations, including fraud, misuse of resources or information, conflicts of interest, and other forms of misconduct
* Executes the investigative process by conducting objective interviews, collecting and preserving evidence, and analyzing complex information to establish facts
* Analyzes investigative findings to determine whether violations of regulations and standards have occurred
* Prepares comprehensive, objective reports that detail investigative findings and provide clear recommendations for corrective action
* Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of all case files, evidence, and related sensitive information
* Collaborates with key partners, including Human Resources, Faculty Affairs, General Counsel, and other partners to ensure a fair, impartial and thorough investigation
* Provides support for the administration of the University’s Risk, Fraud, and Misconduct Hotline (Ethics Point) and other reporting mechanisms
* Maintains and apply knowledge of TAMU and TAMUS rules, policies, and procedures and relevant State and Federal laws
* Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Four or more years of related experience.
* Ability to evaluate and manage highly sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify core issues within complex situations
* Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
