Overview

Hardware Support Specialist at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. Provide technical assistance for our automated parts delivery robot to customers and on-site technicians.

• Provide technical assistance for the automated parts delivery robot to customers and on-site technicians
• Answer support calls, diagnose hardware and software issues, address user concerns regarding operation and environment, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Evaluate product updates and provide recommendations to improve reliability
• Create and update support documentation
• Assist with repair and maintenance of robotic units used in production and quality assurance testing
• Travel to customer locations to handle physical installations and deliver training to customers and internal staff on operating the automated parts delivery robot

• At least 2 years of experience in computer systems, robotics, technical support, or a related technical field
• Associate’s degree or higher in a technical discipline
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and by phone
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
