Job Description:
Position: IT TechnicianAs an IT Technician, you will be part of a team of IT professionals providing in-house technical support for Reynolds and Reynolds associates. Your responsibilities include responding to user calls and tickets to support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain end-user systems.
While your primary focus will be on supporting end-user workstation devices, you will also manage network devices, VoIP, Active Directory accounts, and email administration. Additionally, you will support a variety of applications and have opportunities to work on special projects involving research into new technology and solving complex problems.
We seek responsible, dependable IT associates committed to building a long-term career in the IT field. You should be a self-starter, goal-oriented, organized, and detail-focused team player.
Training:Training will be provided on Reynolds-based products, focusing on Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Network Administration, and support for PCs, printers, and telephony through hands-on learning. Additional resources and opportunities for self-directed learning are available for those eager to excel.
Minimum Requirements:- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform tasks such as kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Ability to identify colors necessary for terminating and inspecting Cat 6 cables.
- Willingness to sit at a desk or be on your feet and walk throughout the shift.
- Possession of a 2-year IT degree or equivalent experience; A+ Certification is a plus.
- Professional work ethic and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with good prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings or weekends, with travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no recent OVI/DUI/DWI violations.
