RN Mother Baby – St. Joseph Health, College Station, TX (Shift Differential Offered)

As a Mother Baby Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery.

• Provide individualized, comprehensive care, performing assessments, skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform admission and ongoing assessment of patient's condition.
• Design, direct, evaluate, and document care plans, including patient/family teaching and safe transition of care.
• Prepare patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies.
• Implement patient safety initiatives and protocols, including medication safety practices and physician orders.
• Reassess patients at appropriate intervals, notifying physicians to modify interventions.
• Provide accurate bedside shift reports, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain patient and work environment to maximize safety and report hazards immediately.

• Associate in Nursing or Diploma upon hire.
• One year experience as an RN.
• Demonstrated competence in registered nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• Basic Life Support – CPR, American Heart Association certification.
• Acute experience desired.

$31.50 - $51.45 per hour.
