The Assistant Carpenter will aide skilled craftsperson(s) by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities- Loading and unloading building materials
- Assist Carpenter in laying out work
- Assist Carpenter with lifting, positioning, securing, and cutting of materials during installation
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Ensure work area remains stocked with materials needed
- Assist other craft workers as needed
- Framing and Structural Carpentry and Finished Carpentry experience
- Hand tool proficiency such as saws, drills, and nail guns
- Material Knowledge
- Strong communication both verbal and digital
- Problem solving
- Customer service
Your compensation will vary by experience level. This can be discussed during the first interview.
