About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Specialist! This position can be located at the following locations:

Midland, MIHouston, TXCollegeville, PAMarietta, GAMajor Dow locations in Canada In this role, you will be responsible for business development in our emerging healthcare market.
Experienced Senior Sales Specialists may also support various sized accounts and are accountable for non-selling processes and tasks inherent in the sales process. This includes generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, fixing the technical problem of a customer, giving support on the phone to a customer, etc. Scope can be regional and segment specific if aligned to a business and less frequently global.

Responsibilities Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region.

Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market.

Search new product development opportunities within the market.

Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.

Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.

Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.

Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyze data to take decisions about new product development.

Leads and conducts negotiations and develops and implements price strategies aligned with business goals considering legal implications, customs regulations and Dow sales processes.

Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results. Dow Global Sales.

QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor’s degree at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.  A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience. A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States or Canada.  No visa sponsorship/support is available, including for any type of permanent residency (green card) process.

Skills Business Acumen:
Candidate should possess a strong bias for action, solid business acumen and the ability to work cross functionally with various stakeholders. Sales Analytics Tools:
Proficiency in CRM, DSR, OMP, Smart Price & Microsoft Office. Communication:
Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Multitasking:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Personal Initiative:
Strong initiative, ownership, accountability, passion and proactive working attitude. Negotiation:
