As a Physician Assistant with a primary care focus, you’ll provide exceptional care across all life spans and families in a thriving primary care setting. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure comprehensive care and best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough physical exams and health assessments for pediatric patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring precision in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, always considering safety, efficacy, and patient well‑being.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans in partnership with supervising physicians.
- Provide valuable patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative health measures.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with patients and their families, becoming a trusted healthcare provider and advocate.
- A team‑oriented and compassionate provider with a focus on primary care.
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to create personalized treatment plans.
- A passion for collaborative care, working with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
- Ability to engage with patients and families, providing education and support in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. - Certifications:
Must hold current PA certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). - Licensing:
Current Texas PA license (or ability to obtain one). - CPR/BLS:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
