D1 is The Place for The Athlete and we're always looking for qualified people to help sharpen D1 to make us smarter, stronger and more efficient. D1 Training Colleyville is in need of both full and part-time high energy Membership Recruiters to assist the management and operations team in day-to-day activities. This would include but not limited to daily client interaction, promoting D1 products and services, and day-to-day operations such as making outgoing calls, booking trial workouts, and handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

This individual must be a self-starter, critical thinker and be passionate about the sports/fitness industry. This position will work closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to support the following D1 programs:
Scholastic Training;
Adult Training;
Pro/Elite Training;
Summer Programs;
Personal and Semi-Private Training;
Small Group and Team Training.

• Deal directly with customers and provide them with a positive customer experience
• Assist with member check-ins, setting up new memberships, collecting and processing payments
• Generate revenue through sales of membership, training packages, retail products, team training, etc.
• Maintain control of inventory and submit sales reports
• Aid and assist in the creation of marketing materials, including flyers, email communications, newsletters, website, banners, etc.
• Execute a variety of phone calls to clients (i.e. recruiting leads for D1 Training, membership sales, and other training package options)
• Organize and help prepare materials needed for any upcoming offsite or onsite events
• Attend outside events as well as going out in to the community to market the D1 brand

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Applications (word, excel, mindbody, lucid press etc)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with D1 Staff Members, clients and vendors
• Effective time management and follow through skills
• Attention to detail and ability to think critically
• Positive energetic attitude with the ability to multi-task and perform a wide variety of roles
• Previous sales and customer service experience is a plus
• Experience with social media, photography and videography

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Kinesiology, Business, or related field
• Passionate about working in the Sport/ Fitness industry
• Knowledge of gym or retail operations is a plus
• Sales experience in the gym environment (1 year preferred)
• Outgoing personality that excels in Customer Service (1 year preferred)
• Self-starter and enjoys working with peers on group projects
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities
• Dependable and Reliable - MUST be willing to work early mornings and weekends

• $12-14/hour + Commissions/Bonus

Job Type: Full and Part-time

Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
