Accounts Payable Supervisor​/Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead and oversee the accounts payable operations in Collierville, Tennessee. This position requires a hands-on approach, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of full-cycle accounts payable while supervising a small team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset to maintain compliance and streamline financial processes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

- Supervise and support a small team of accounts payable staff, providing training and guidance as needed.

- Ensure proper coding of accounts and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Handle full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.

- Utilize accounting software systems, such as ADP and Concur, to manage transactions and maintain records.

- Monitor accrual accounting practices and ensure compliance with auditing standards.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

- Manage ACH payments and ensure accuracy in automated clearing house transactions.

- Analyze data and prepare reports related to accounts payable activities.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervision.

- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ADP and Concur.

- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and auditing standards.

- Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.

- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to oversee and mentor a team effectively.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial processes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
