The Senior Accountant plays a key role in the day‑to‑day financial operations of HHG Interiors and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, this full‑time, in‑person position is responsible for a wide range of accounting activities, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting support. You’ll contribute to a high‑functioning finance team that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement—and you’ll gain exposure to a multi‑entity environment in the midst of thoughtful, strategic growth.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, payment application, vendor communication, and issue resolution
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly and accurately
• Maintain general ledger accuracy across entities; support timely and complete month‑end close
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
• Generate base reports to support financial review and operational decision‑making
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of sales and use tax filings
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation for internal review
• Support audits, budgeting, and documentation of financial processes and procedures
• Assist in onboarding and integrating financial operations for new acquisitions or business units

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with multi‑entity or multi‑division organizations.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven experience collaborating with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Process‑minded, detail‑oriented, and driven by continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non‑financial stakeholders.
• Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
