Support Lead (Part‑time) – Five Below

Five Below is looking for a Support Lead who can empower our associates, ensure excellent customer service, and drive store results. As part of the Five Below team you’ll oversee daily store operations, support training, and create an engaging shopping experience for our customers.

• Ensures all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform their duties effectively.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock so items are quickly placed on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff, service, and urgent issues.
• Manages the entire opening and closing process, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and preparing a smooth daily operation.
• Supports the onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by boosting merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and world recovery.
• Performs store maintenance, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face, and with managers and coworkers; must exchange accurate information.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and to/from the stock room to retrieve and put away merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Must identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Must remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
