Material Handler - Receiving (MCR Safety)

Join Bunzl plc to apply for the Material Handler - Receiving (MCR Safety) role. You will be responsible for labeling, staging, and putting away products, operating power equipment safely and efficiently, and performing related duties per shift schedules.

• Sort products according to material numbers and transport them to the appropriate aisle for put away.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using an electric pallet jack or other power equipment.
• Use computer equipment to transfer and put away items as required.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and product in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance on pallet jacks or other equipment.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
• Keep appropriate records to guarantee tight inventory control and security.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; assist in maintaining warehouse security and safety.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Unload containers or shuttle pallets as directed by the supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse and equipment operations.
• Proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to work overtime, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
• Completed or ready to complete the Fork Truck training program.
