Job Description

The Racing Industry Charitable Foundation, Inc. () is seeking a qualified General Dentist to provide dental care in a comfortable clinical setting, primarily serving adult patients. The RICF is a small non-profit organization that provides wellness services to horse care workers at Illinois racetracks. The Dentist shall be responsible for providing basic preventive and corrective dental services, as well as basic oral health care.

• Schedule Control: Perfect opportunity for a new or experienced dentist looking for a few hours per month (12 hrs)
• Relaxed clinic environment: Services only available to eligible industry workers. Clinic is not open to the public. Single chair clinic setup
• Unique clinic environment: The RICF is a charitable organization that provides services to the transient population of the horse racing industry. This is an opportunity to provide professional services to an underserved and at-risk population.

• Deliver excellent general dentistry care, including comprehensive exams, cleanings, restorative work, simple extractions, and basic endodontics. No oral surgery.
• Create treatment plans centered on patient care.
• Provide patients with education on oral hygiene.
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate digital electronic health records.

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program.
• License to practice dentistry in the State of Illinois (or licensure pending).
• Strong communication skills with an empathetic patient manner.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
• All experience levels welcome to apply
