Financial Manager, CFO
The Finance Director is responsible for the financial health and stability of the City of Collinsville. This includes overseeing all financial operations, developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to the City Council and City Manager.
The Finance Director will lead a team of finance professionals and work collaboratively with other departments to support the City's goals and objectives, serving as the City's Treasurer.
The Finance Department consists of 7 full‑time staff including a Controller and three Senior Accountants. The department generates all financial reports, performs cash management duties, oversees compliance with federal and state regulations, prepares the City's annual budget, manages investments, monitors grant compliance, and more.
