Position: Automotive Sales Executive- Jack Schmitt Ford of Collinsville

Jack Schmitt Ford of Collinsville – a premier Ford dealer in the St. Louis Metro East – is hiring a full‑time Automotive Sales Executive.

Position Overview

We need experienced automotive sales professionals to support our growing showroom, phone, and online traffic. Candidates must have 1 year or more of recent dealership sales experience, be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be authorized to work in the United States. Pre‑employment drug testing is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $55,000 to $130,000 annually + commissions.

Schedule

Open shift days:
Monday to Friday (day, evening). Options for 4‑hour, 8‑hour or 10‑hour shifts. Saturday off each month for high performers.

Responsibilities
  • Engage customers to understand automotive needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and demos.
  • Manage the sales process: negotiate, close deals, and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain inventory knowledge and assist with inventory management.
  • Use CRM software to track leads and follow up with potential buyers; camera‑shy applicants may not be ideal.
  • Uphold dealership standards and regulatory compliance while driving sales growth.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of recent dealership sales or related experience.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or kneel for hours and handle multiple phone calls simultaneously.
  • Dealership and/or recent retail customer‑service experience a plus.
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening test.
