Field Service Welder – Collinsville, OK Facility

The Field Service Welder performs and / or assists in departmental welding and/or fitting activities as directed by the Field Services Manager. Must have your own welder equipped service vehicle. Must be able to travel.

• Able and willing to travel state to state.
• Demolition of equipment to be replaced
• Under supervision, assist in the planned daily activities.
• Participate in pre and post planned readiness of parts and tools, for planned fit up and welding activities.
• Complete understanding of departmental operating procedures as well as job task procedures.
• Complete understanding of ASME code requirements on all vessel related jobs.
• If applicable job scope to encompass welding in the following process if directed by departmental supervisor (FCAW,GMAW, GTAW).
• Complete understanding in the interpretation of blueprint reading.
• Perform hydrostatic testing of boiler systems and field installed piping IAW codes that apply.
• Makes repairs to boiler and associated systems as required or directed by the Service manager.
• Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within job scope.
• Responsible for all actions/responsibilities as required by the departmental supervisor

Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned by the Field Services Manager.

• Ability to regularly travel from state to state.
• Welding: 3 years (Required)
• Field service: 3 years (Required)
• Three (3) years of experience in field services/boiler installation related functions.
• Mathematically inclined.
• Ability to use numerous hand tools (POWERED AND MANUAL)
• Certified according to ASME code in the following welding process (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW).
• Complete knowledge of blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work any shift.
